Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Real Estate Legal Associate role based in Mumbai. The Real Estate Legal Associate will review, draft, and finalize legal documents related to property transactions, including sale deeds, lease agreements, and development agreements. The role involves conducting legal due diligence on properties, verifying title documents, and identifying potential legal risks. The associate will coordinate with internal teams, external counsels, and government authorities to support registrations, approvals, and compliance.
Responsibilities also include monitoring ongoing legal issues, assisting in dispute resolution, and providing clear legal guidance to support project execution and business decisions.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Law with specific exposure to real estate and property law.
Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
Solid Analytical Skills and ability to interpret complex legal issues and regulatory requirements.
Effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders, external counsels, and government authorities.
Experience handling Legal Issues related to land acquisition, title verification, and compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); LL.M in real estate or related specialization is an advantage.
Familiarity with local regulations, registration procedures, and real estate documentation in Mumbai and Maharashtra.
High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
