Job Title:Legal Records Clerk
Location: Englewood, NJ
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Records Clerk to support our busy outpatient orthopedic practice by managing legal requests related to patient care. The Legal Records Clerk serves as a critical liaison between attorneys and physicians, ensuring seamless coordination of depositions, trials, and medical record handling. Key Responsibilities:
Legal Request Coordination: Process and monitor attorney and provider requests for depositions, IMEs, inperson trials, and narrative reports, ensuring timely and accurate handling.
Scheduling & Documentation: Coordinate video depositions, trials, and physician schedules while maintaining uptodate legal records and patient documentation.
Attorney & Patient Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for attorneys, patients, and physicians, ensuring clear communication and efficient scheduling.
Administrative Support: Answer calls, manage invoices, prepare records, and assist with reporting needs while upholding the highest level of professionalism.
Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all legal and medical documentation is processed with accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to NJ NoFault and PIP regulations.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
12 years of experience in healthcare, legal, or administrative support
Knowledge of MVA, PIP, and NJ NoFault preferred
Strong organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & webbased applications
Bilingual skills a plus
