Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Immigration Legal Representative accredited by the Department of Justice (DOJ) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide legal assistance and representation in immigration matters, ensuring clients receive the highest level of service and support. This role requires a strong understanding of immigration law, as well as the ability to manage legal cases effectively while maintaining organizational standards.
Duties
Provide legal representation and advice to clients on a wide range of immigration matters.
Assist in managing administrative tasks related to case management, including scheduling appointments and maintaining client communications.
Prepare and file necessary legal documents accurately and timely.
Maintain organized case files and documentation, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
Collaborate with clients to gather relevant information for their cases, providing guidance throughout the process.
Stay informed about changes in immigration law, policy updates, and relevant legal precedents.
Respond promptly to client emails and phone calls regarding their cases and submit inquiries on case status to Department of State (DOS) and USCIS, as needed Training, outreach & community education.
Skills
Fluency in Spanish required.
Ideal candidate will have previous Department of Justice (DOJ) accredited representative status at a non-profit organization or enough relevant training and experience in immigration and naturalization law to be able to immediately apply for accreditation.
Demonstrated ability to work with people from a wide range of cultural, racial, religious and language backgrounds
Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Experience in legal case management is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 – $53,000.00 per year
