Public Safety Territory Manager — Government Technology Jobs in United States at City919

Title: Public Safety Territory Manager — Government Technology

Company: City919

Location: United States

City919 is looking for experienced Public Safety Territory Managers with existing relationships inside law enforcement, sheriff’s offices, emergency management agencies, municipal government, and public safety procurement channels.

This is a relationship-driven government technology sales role. The strongest candidates will already know police chiefs, sheriffs, command staff, grants managers, emergency management directors, municipal administrators, city managers, county officials, or public safety technology buyers.

## About City919

City919, powered by FastDial, is a fast-growing AI-powered public safety technology company built for law enforcement, emergency response, and municipal government.

We are bringing practical AI tools into the field where officers and first responders need them most — during real encounters, real emergencies, and real language barriers.

Our flagship solution, **EMT — Emergency Multi-Translator**, gives public safety agencies real-time AI interpretation access by dialing **#919** from any mobile phone.

No app. No hardware. No interpreter queue.

City919 is now hiring Public Safety Territory Managers with existing law enforcement and government relationships to help bring EMT to agencies nationwide.

## About EMT

EMT is designed for field conditions where speed, simplicity, and usability matter. Officers and first responders can access real-time AI-powered interpretation from a mobile phone by dialing **#919**, without downloading an app, installing hardware, or waiting for a traditional interpreter queue.

EMT supports multilingual communication for police departments, sheriff’s offices, emergency management agencies, fire departments, EMS, 911-related response environments, and municipal public safety teams.

The platform is built to help agencies address language barriers during traffic stops, domestic calls, emergency response, field interviews, public-facing incidents, community encounters, and other situations where fast communication matters.

EMT is not designed to replace trained interpreters in legal, evidentiary, certified, or courtroom settings. It is designed to provide a fast field-ready communication bridge during the first critical moments of an encounter.

Responder speaks. The person hears it in their language. The person responds. The responder gets usable information back.

That is the gap City919 EMT was built to address.

## The Opportunity

Guide qualified agencies through pilot adoption, product review, internal buy-in, and annual contract conversion.

Work with City919 leadership to provide product materials, pilot language, grant-support language, budget examples, and implementation information.

Build and manage a territory pipeline, including agency outreach, pilot prospects, active proposals, expected close dates, and contract opportunities.

Report weekly activity, pipeline status, agency feedback, and close forecasts to City919 leadership.

Represent City919 professionally with police departments, sheriff’s offices, emergency management agencies, municipal leaders, public safety associations, and government buyers.

## What We’re Looking For

Existing personal relationships with law enforcement or public safety decision-makers. This is the most important qualification.

Experience selling technology, communications, software, equipment, or services to government, public safety, emergency management, or law enforcement agencies.

A proven ability to open doors, get meetings, build trust, and move agencies through longer government sales cycles.

Familiarity with public-sector buying, municipal budgeting, procurement processes, pilot programs, and grant-funded purchases.

Knowledge of JAG, COPS, emergency management, or public safety grant programs is strongly preferred.

Former law enforcement, military, emergency management, dispatch, corrections, or public safety experience is a plus but not required.

Prior experience with companies such as Axon, Motorola Solutions, Tyler Technologies, Carbyne, Versaterm, CentralSquare, Flock Safety, FirstNet-related vendors, or similar public safety technology companies is highly desirable.

No interpreter background is required. This is a sales, relationship-development, and territory-management role.

Florida-based candidates will receive priority, but strong candidates with law enforcement networks in any U.S. territory will be considered.

## Role Structure

This is an independent contractor role.

Territories may be assigned based on geography, existing relationships, agency coverage, and performance.

City919 will provide sales-support materials, product information, demo support, pilot language, and grant-support language.

The role is primarily commission-based and relationship-driven.

Representatives are expected to manage their own outreach, meetings, follow-up, and pipeline activity.

Travel, conferences, and in-person agency meetings may be part of the role. Any company-paid or reimbursed travel must be approved in advance.

Final territory terms, commission payment timing, renewal terms, and representative responsibilities will be defined in the independent contractor agreement.

## Compensation

15% commission on all first-year contract value for closed agency contracts.

$750 bonus for each signed qualified 30-day pilot agreement.

Uncapped commission potential based on territory performance.

Example:

A mid-size department with 300 officers at $300 per officer per year equals a $90,000 annual contract.

At 15%, the first-year commission would be $13,500.

That is $13,500 in commission, plus the $750 qualified pilot bonus.

Total potential compensation from that example: $14,250.

Commission and bonus payments are subject to the final representative agreement, including payment timing, qualification rules, and contract collection terms.

## Why This Role Matters

Language barriers are not just administrative problems. In the field, they can affect response time, officer safety, community trust, emergency medical care, investigations, domestic calls, traffic stops, public events, and crisis response.

Public safety agencies need communication tools that are fast, simple, affordable, and easy to deploy.

City919 EMT gives agencies a practical option: dial #919 and begin communicating.

For the right representative, this is an opportunity to bring a first-mover government technology solution to an underserved public safety market with clear agency need and long-term recurring revenue potential.
