Property Damage Assistant – Personal Injury

Pay: Up to $30/hour
RA & Associates, APC is a fast-growing personal injury law firm seeking an experienced and highly organized Property Damage Assistant to join our Pre-Litigation Team.
This position is ideal for someone who already has experience handling the property damage portion of personal injury claims and understands how important timely communication, follow-up, and resolution are to the overall client experience.
You will work closely with Case Managers, clients, insurance adjusters, and repair facilities to efficiently handle vehicle damage claims from start to resolution.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the property damage portion of personal injury cases.
- Coordinate vehicle inspections, estimates, repairs, and total-loss evaluations with insurance carriers and body shops.
- Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, body shops, rental companies, and other parties.
- Assist clients with rental vehicles, loss-of-use claims, and reimbursement of eligible out-of-pocket expenses.
- Draft correspondence, documentation, and letters to clients and insurance carriers.
- Follow up with adjusters regarding property damage claims and outstanding issues.
- Track the progress of repairs, payments, reimbursements, and total-loss claims.
- Maintain accurate and detailed case notes within the firm’s case management system.
- Keep Case Managers informed of property damage developments and potential issues.
- Maintain confidential client and case information at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of experience as a Property Damage Specialist OR Legal Assistant handling property damage claims – required.
- Prior experience within a personal injury law firm strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with auto insurance claims, vehicle repairs, total losses, rentals, and loss-of-use matters.
- Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple active claims and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfortable communicating directly with insurance adjusters and resolving outstanding issues.
- Knowledge of insurance and legal terminology is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
