Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Case Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing cases effectively while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to conduct thorough legal research, and a commitment to providing exceptional support to clients. The Case Manager will work closely with various stakeholders, including clients, legal teams, and external agencies.
Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring timely and effective communication throughout the case lifecycle.
Conduct legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to gather pertinent information related to cases.
Ensure compliance with Tribal law regulations and immigration law as applicable.
Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining case files.
Utilize document management systems like iManage for efficient organization and retrieval of case-related documents.
Collaborate with internal teams on project management tasks to ensure that all case-related activities are on track.
Prepare reports and documentation for court proceedings or other legal requirements as necessary.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in law, social work, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in case management or a similar role is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of legal research methodologies and tools.
Familiarity with immigration law and Tribal law regulations is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Proficient in document management systems such as iManage.
Strong research skills with attention to detail.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
