Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney admitted to the NYS Bar with Title and Court appearance experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Title law and Court appearances.
Duties
Examine title searches to identify issues on title
Review title claims to ensure request for coverage is proper
Review indemnification and other responses to title claim
Review legal documents related to Quiet Title and Bar Claim actions.
Represent clients in court proceedings in Nassau, Suffolk and the 5 boroughs (we do our best to keep you within the courts near your residence)
Provide expert legal advice to clients
Draft and review legal documents
Conduct thorough legal research using tools like Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support case strategies.
Requirements
Must be admitted to the NYS Bar.
A clear and concise understanding of Chain of Title
Experience examining title searches and identifying issues
Court experience
Experience with indemnification and other responses to title claims
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Pay: $85,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
