New York | $95,000 – $115,000 | On-site (Mon–Thurs)
We’re working with a global investment management firm looking to hire a high-calibre Paralegal to join its Legal Fund team in New York.
This is not a typical paralegal role.
You’ll sit at the centre of a fast-paced, commercially driven legal function supporting fund activity, investor processes, and strategic projects across the business.
The Role
You’ll work closely with a team of attorneys on a broad range of matters including:
- Supporting fund formation and ongoing fund lifecycle work
- Coordinating investor due diligence processes (DDQs, AML/KYC, regulatory requests)
- Managing side letters and monitoring ongoing obligations
- Reviewing investor-facing materials (presentations, RFPs, marketing content)
- Supporting board processes (pack preparation, resolutions, governance)
- Liaising with Investor Relations, Compliance, Finance, and external stakeholders
- Assisting with contract review (NDAs, vendor agreements, ad hoc documentation)
- Driving key projects and acting as a central coordinator across teams
This is a highly visible role with real ownership and cross-functional exposure.
The Candidate
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Educated to a high standard (strong academic background preferred)
- Trained in a top-tier law firm and/or currently working in an investment manager, private equity or hedge fund environment
- Experienced in corporate, funds or investment management work (paralegal or equivalent)
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple workstreams
- Commercially aware, proactive and confident working with senior stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
Exposure to fund structures, investor processes or regulatory work is advantageous but not essential.
