Job Summary
Our Pre-Litigation Attorneys are responsible for all aspects of a personal injury case (up to the filing of a complaint).
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and provide direction to a team of staff members
Evaluate the merits of a personal injury case
Provide guidance and counsel to clients
Medical case review
Research and legal analysis
Negotiate and authorize settlements in the pre-litigation stage
Qualifications and Skills
A license in good standing to practice law in New York
At least two years of experience with client contact and/or negotiation experience
Strong research, verbal, and written communication skills
The ability to handle a large and active caseload
Prioritization of client representation and customer service
Excellent investigator and problem-solver skills
Success providing direction and guidance to a team of staff
