Personal Injury Paralegal

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a personal injury litigation caseload under attorney supervision from filing through trial or resolution
- Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, experts, court personnel, opposing counsel, and vendors
- Draft, prepare, and file litigation documents including pleadings, Case Management Conference (CMC) statements, Orders to Show Cause (OSC) responses, deposition notices, Requests for Dismissal, declarations, Minor’s Compromise petitions, and other court filings
- Prepare, e-file, serve, and track litigation documents in accordance with California court rules and deadlines
- Coordinate depositions, Defense Medical Examinations (DMEs), mediations, expert witness scheduling, and court appearances
- Maintain attorney calendars, monitor litigation deadlines, and ensure timely completion of all case-related tasks
- Review, organize, and maintain electronic and physical case files for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, witness binders, and other materials to assist attorneys with trial preparation
- Coordinate the preparation and posting of jury fees and other required court filings
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case progression while providing exceptional client service
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, court rules, and e-filing requirements
- Experience preparing pleadings, litigation documents, and trial-related materials
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and client-focused approach
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with CasePeer or similar case management software is preferred
- Spanish bilingual is preferred

Pay: $28.00 – $40.00 per hour
