Job Overview
Join our dynamic legal team as a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal, where your expertise will be pivotal in managing complex personal . Your contribution will directly impact the efficiency of our litigation processes, ensuring timely and accurate case progression while supporting the overall success of our personal injury practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing case files and evidence.
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, motions, and related filings.
- Manage case files using document management systems such as MyCase ensuring all records are current, organized, and compliant with firm standards .
- Maintain effective communication with clients via phone etiquette and professional correspondence to keep them informed throughout the litigation process
- Prepare and organize evidence, exhibits, and trial binders
- Support office operations, including answering phones, scheduling, and general clerical tasks as needed.
- Track court deadlines, hearings, mediations, and trial dates with accuracy.
Qualifications
- Proven paralegal litigation experience with a focus on personal injury law
- Experience with either MD, DC, and Federal courts
- Strong knowledge of legal administrative processes including document review, filing procedures, and case management systems
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while demonstrating professional phone etiquette and client interaction skills.
- Bilingual French or Spanish is a plus!
