Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of liability, damages, and insurance coverage in personal injury cases.
Manage a caseload from client intake through litigation and resolution.
Negotiate settlements involving complex liability and damages issues.
Handle court appearances, draft motions, argue cases, and take/defend depositions, including those involving expert witnesses.
Assist in criminal defense matters as needed, including court coverage and hearings.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Build and maintain strong, trust-based client relationships to foster satisfaction and referrals.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice in Washington State.
1-3 years of experience in personal injury law, including litigation.
Criminal law experience is a plus.
Exceptional legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong commitment to client advocacy and justice.
