Our client is a leading private equity firm, with offices across the US, UK, Europe and Asia. The business is a market-leading firm renowned for its exceptional track record in strategy and expertise.
We are looking for a Paralegal with experience in supporting on legal and compliance matters.
Key Roles & Responsibilities of Paralegal, Private Equity
Support the legal and compliance team in Hong Kong on any relevant L&C matters
Ensure compliance with financial regulations through regular reviews
Work closely with internal legal team and external legal advisors on a full range of legal matters
Support on legal matters including reviewing legal documents and contracts
Support General and Transaction Counsel with the review of engagement letters and various corporate agreements
Provide compliance advice and recommendations for improvements to the compliance framework
Support on any KYC and AML matters
Assist in regulatory filings and maintain firm’s regulatory presence across Asia
Qualifications & Requirements of Paralegal, Private Equity
Relevant Legal degree
Strong experience at an asset management/ PE / hedge fund/ investment bank or any other financial services
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Proven ability to develop and implement effective compliance programs.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
