Veritas Search are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join the Intellectual Property team of a leading top-tier law firm in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with 1+ year's experience in a legal environment who has a strong interest in intellectual property law, particularly trade marks, and is looking to develop their career within a highly regarded practice.
Working as part of a collaborative and fast-paced team, you will support lawyers and clients on a broad range of trade mark matters, ensuring the efficient management of portfolios and adherence to key deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and filing new trade mark applications across various jurisdictions.
- Managing and progressing trade mark applications through the registration process.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date trade mark records, databases, and case management systems.
- Monitoring and managing deadlines to ensure all filings and actions are completed within required timeframes.
- Liaising with clients, foreign associates, trade mark offices, and other external stakeholders.
- Working closely with solicitors, partners, and other internal teams to support client matters.
- Preparing and processing cost estimates, invoices, and related administrative documentation.
- Assisting with portfolio management and reporting requirements.
- Prioritising a high-volume workload effectively while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Providing general administrative and ad hoc support across the Intellectual Property team as required.
About You:
- Approximately 1 year's experience in a legal setting, ideally within intellectual property, trade marks, or a related practice area.
- Strong knowledge of intellectual property law and/or trade mark procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Experience working to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
- FE1 candidates may be considered but will depend on the stage they are at and we would require a time commitment to dedicate to this role
