Key Responsibilities
- Assists with the day-to-day Litigation / Intellectual Property & Technology matters in the Dispute Resolution / Commercial practice group.
- Undertake necessary legal research and provide legal support to lawyers and partners in the Dispute Resolution / Commercial practice group.
- Assist in translating court documents from English to Bahasa and vice versa.
- Assist with the preparation of cause papers, affidavits, applications to court and/or legal submissions.
- Responsible for preparing, compiling and coordinating the submission and filing of relevant court documents.
- Drafting/preparing commercial agreements.
- Assist in managing litigation / Intellectual Property & Technology files.
Requirements
- A minimum qualification of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
- Prior Litigation / IP Tech experience will be an advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently and as a team.
- Able to commit to least 6 to 12-month contract.
