Saenz-Garcia Law, PLLC is seeking an experienced bilingual Legal Assistant – Business Immigration to join our team. We are a law firm of fourteen attorneys based out of DFW. As a Legal Assistant focusing on O-1, EB-1A, and EB-2 NIW cases, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in managing complex business immigration matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented professional looking to contribute to impactful immigration advocacy.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and answering inquiries about their immigration cases.
Coordinate the collection of client documentation, including evidence of achievements, publications, professional references, and employment contracts.
Schedule consultations, meetings, and hearings for clients.
Gather and review client documents to ensure that all necessary information is complete and accurate.
Conduct legal research on U.S. immigration regulations related to O-1, EB-1A, and EB-2 NIW visas.
Analyze eligibility criteria and precedents to support petitions and appeals.
Gather information on USCIS, AAO, and relevant court policies.
Draft and prepare petitions, support letters, RFE responses, and other legal documents related to business immigration cases.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with all legal requirements.
Coordinate the collection and organization of evidence supporting extraordinary ability, national impact, and substantial merit claims.
Assist with the intake of new clients, including reviewing initial documents and conducting basic eligibility assessments.
Ensure that clients’ documentation (such as passports, educational credentials, work history) meets the requirements for specific visa applications.
Collaborate with attorneys and other legal assistants to ensure the successful management of immigration cases.
Assist attorneys in preparing for client meetings, interviews, or other legal proceedings.
Assist attorneys in organizing and tracking case files in Docketwise, MyCase, Camp Legal, and other relevant platforms.
Maintain updated records of case statuses, deadlines, and USCIS requirements.
File legal documents with USCIS and other government agencies as needed.
Follow up with clients and stakeholders to complete case files.
Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and database management.
Requirements:
Knowledge of legal terminology, USCIS regulations, state and federal laws, court procedures, and public notice requirements.
Strong research and investigation skills.
Proficiency in Docketwise, Microsoft Office, MyCase, Camp Legal, and Adobe.
Ability to draft, prepare, and interpret legal documents.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Effective communication and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to process information accurately.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.

Pay: From $50,000.00 – 55,000.00 per year
