Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support across a variety of legal practice areas, ensuring efficient case management and thorough legal research. Duties

  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including document review, drafting legal documents, and managing case files using document management systems such as CLIO, iManage and PCLaw.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools to support litigation, transactional work, and compliance efforts across diverse practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers’ compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, UCC law, and more.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical files with meticulous attention to detail; ensure timely filing and data entry for all case-related documents.
  • Support project management tasks by coordinating deadlines, scheduling meetings, and tracking case progress to ensure timely completion of legal work.
  • Prepare summaries of legal research findings and draft correspondence or memos for attorneys; proofread documents for accuracy and clarity.
  • Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses as directed; assist in gathering necessary documentation for cases.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as calendar management, phone etiquette communication with clients or external partners, and providing executive administrative support when needed.

Qualifications

  • (Highly preferred) Paralegal certificate, or Bachelor’s/Associate Degree in Paralegal studies, from ABA approved program.
  • Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in legal research, document review, and case management across multiple practice areas.
  • Proficiency in legal software including Westlaw, LexisNexis, iManage, PCLaw, and document management systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; attention to detail is essential for proofreading and transcription tasks.
  • Experience with litigation support processes including filing procedures and document management.
  • Knowledge of estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, tribal regulations, patent law, workers’ compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, UCC law or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Effective interviewing skills combined with professional phone etiquette; capable of handling confidential information discreetly.

Compensation & Benefits

· Salary: $60,000–$65,000 annually, depending on experience. (Bonus potential based on performance and company performance)
