We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to provide essential support to the legal team. The role involves a broad range of legal and administrative tasks, including database management, KYC inquiries, and providing general counselling assistance. The ideal candidate will ensure that all documentation, compliance processes, and legal research are conducted efficiently, supporting the legal team in its day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain legal databases, including corporate, contract, complaints, subpoenas, and other relevant records.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across legal databases and records.
Administer both incoming and outgoing Know Your Customer (KYC) inquiries in conjunction with the wider team.
Assist in the management, execution, and delivery of global and UK compliance programs.
Provide administrative and research support to the legal team for general legal inquiries and case management.
Assist with the preparation and organization of documents, files, and correspondence to support day-to-day legal functions.
Assist where necessary with the draft, review, and organization of contracts for clients and suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.
Assist with drafting key legal documents, including data privacy statements and compliance-related policies.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in law, Legal Studies, or a related field, or currently in final year of study.
Proficiency in English.
Experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or in a similar administrative role within a legal department.
Experience with KYC inquiries and compliance procedures is highly desirable.
Familiarity with database management and corporate record-keeping.
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of contract management tools and corporate governance systems
