PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE

-Business attire-

Duties: Draft/edit a variety of legal documents

Keep cases organized by creating, organizing, and filing court documents

Monitor the attorney’s calendar for meetings, hearings, and court deadlines

Must be able to adhere to strict deadlines

Daily use of Google Docs and Google Drive, must be able to use effectively and efficiently. Adobe is also frequently used.

Input information and scanned/emailed documents into the file database

Must be proactive and able to work independently while maintaining communication with the attorney

Must check case status with the attorney

Maintain positive relationships with the clients and keep them updated on their case

Email any received or court-filed documents to the client

Must be capable of evaluating the attorney’s calendar to schedule consultations, depositions, and Pre-litigation Hearings

Take payments

Answer the phones

Frequent use of a copy machine

Basic office tasks -faxing documents, sending mail, processing mail, filing into the physical case file

One year of office experience preferred.
