Job Purpose:
Ensure the implementation of all occupational health & safety standards and civil defense regulations across the bank’s headquarters and branches, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fire safety regulations for all facilities based on size and risk.
- Monitor compliance with fire safety and civil defense requirements before and during operations.
- Oversee occupational safety readiness of all new and existing bank facilities.
- Prepare and implement emergency response plans across all locations.
- Lead evacuation drills and supervise maintenance of fire-fighting systems.
- Ensure readiness and functionality of fire alarm and safety systems.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to address observations from Civil Defense and regulatory bodies.
- Follow up on legal cases or violations related to safety and compliance.
- Maintain and supervise an electronic safety database for all bank facilities.
- Prepare quarterly safety reports for executive review.
- Issue internal safety guidelines and security instructions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Relevant academic qualification.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in security-related roles (Armed Forces, Police, Security, or Civil Defense).
- Proven experience in civil defense and fire safety systems.
