Role Description The Nbfc Fund Raising Expert will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, and executing fund-raising activities for NBFC clients, including debt, equity, and hybrid instruments. This full-time, on-site role based in India involves identifying and engaging with investors, lenders, and financial institutions, preparing pitch decks and financial models, and supporting negotiations to secure optimal funding terms. The role includes conducting market and investor research, evaluating funding options, and advising on capital structure strategies aligned with regulatory and business requirements. The expert will collaborate closely with legal and corporate advisory teams to ensure adherence to RBI and other regulatory norms, review transaction documentation, and support due diligence processes. Ongoing responsibilities include monitoring transaction progress, maintaining investor relationships, and preparing periodic reports and updates for clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate funding options, financial models, and investment proposals.
  • Expertise in investments, including experience with debt, equity, and structured finance products relevant to NBFCs.
  • Solid grounding in finance, with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess capital structures.
  • Knowledge of fund accounting and accounting principles as they relate to NBFC transactions and reporting.
  • Familiarity with NBFC regulations in India, including RBI guidelines and applicable securities and company law.
  • Proven experience in fundraising, investment banking, corporate finance, or similar roles within financial services or advisory.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact confidently with investors and clients.
  • Ability to work on-site in India, manage multiple transactions concurrently, and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Graduate degree in finance, commerce, business, economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CFA, CS) are an advantage.
