Marital and Family Law Paralegal
Busy Florida law firm has an immediate opening for a full-time Marital and Family Law Paralegal in our Tampa office.
Responsibilities
- Manage attorney calendars, including court hearings, depositions, mediations, client meetings, and deadlines.
- Coordinate scheduling with courts, opposing counsel, clients, experts, and vendors.
- Track litigation deadlines and ensure timely compliance with court orders and procedural requirements.
- Prepare and maintain attorney daily and weekly schedules.
- Mediation and trial preparation.
- Update and organize files within the electronic internal database.
- Draft, revise, proofread, and finalize legal pleadings, motions, notices, subpoenas, and correspondence.
- Effectively communicate and work with opposing counsels’ paralegals, judicial assistants, and clients.
Attributes
- 2+ years of experience as a Family Law Paralegal.
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certification preferred.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Pro.
- Experience using ProLaw document management program a plus.
- Have excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and resolve problems independently.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
