Position Overview: As a Litigation Associate specializing in domestic relations and personal injury law, you will play a vital role in our practice. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of family law and personal injury cases from inception through trial, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and representing clients in court. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Attend court hearings and trials to represent our clients effectively.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
Collaborate with the lead attorney to strategize and develop case strategies.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active Massachusetts and/or New Hampshire bar membership.
Prior experience in personal injury and/or domestic relations litigation preferred.
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
