Are you looking to work at the intersection of financial regulation, compliance, and private markets? NIO is seeking a dedicated and motivated Associate to join our Copenhagen-based legal and compliance team in a role combining regulatory advisory with hands-on compliance and AML work.

About the role
NIO is seeking a dedicated and motivated Compliance Associate to join our legal and compliance team. You will support and further develop our compliance and AML framework while providing day-to-day regulatory guidance across the organisation.

Responsibilities include
- Conducting compliance monitoring and supporting the execution of the annual compliance programme
- Advising the organisation on regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Supporting the implementation and maintenance of AML/KYC procedures and controls
- Assisting with regulatory reporting and dialogue with relevant authorities
- Contributing to the development and updating of internal policies, procedures, and controls
- Identifying and assessing compliance risks and supporting the implementation of appropriate mitigating measures
- Supporting compliance-related training and awareness initiatives across the organisation
- Qualifications include
- A relevant master's degree, such as Master of Laws, MSc in Business Administration and Commercial Law, or similar
- Relevant professional experience, e.g. from a law firm, investment fund manager, financial institution, authority, or other regulated industry. Experience with compliance matters within an AIFM or similar investment environment is an advantage
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements in the financial sector, including AIFM regulation and AML/KYC frameworks
- Comfortable working with stakeholders across an organisation and able to communicate regulatory matters in a clear and practical manner
- Thrives in an international environment and fluent in both Danish and English, written and spoken
