A leading and highly recognised law firm, ranked among the top firms in Legal 500, is seeking an M&A Associate with 4+ years of professional experience to join its Private Equity, Venture Capital & M&A team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to further develop their career within a sophisticated transactional practice, with exposure to high-profile M&A, Private Equity and Venture Capital transactions and the opportunity to work alongside experienced lawyers and leading clients.
The Role
As part of the Private Equity, Venture Capital and M&A team, you will be involved in a wide range of matters, including:
- Formation of Private Equity and Venture Capital funds and representation of fund managers and investors
- Conducting legal due diligence exercises and preparing due diligence reports
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating investment and M&A documentation, including Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs), Shareholders’ Agreements (SHAs) and other transaction documents
- Advising on corporate governance and day-to-day corporate law matters
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements
- Working closely with clients, counterparties and other professional advisers throughout all stages of a transaction
Qualifications
- Qualified Lawyer admitted to a Greek Bar Association
- Law Degree from a Greek University
- 4+ years of professional experience in M&A, Corporate, Private Equity and/or Venture Capital
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong drafting, analytical and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a demanding, collaborative and transaction-driven environment
