My client, a well-established private practice law firm, is seeking a talented solicitor to join their busy litigation department due to sustained growth. This is an excellent opportunity for solicitors across the PQE spectrum – NQ (Newly Qualified) through to senior solicitors with extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
The Role You will manage a varied and engaging caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters, which may include:
Contract disputes Property litigation Debt recovery Professional negligence Contentious probate Company and partnership disputes General dispute resolution work You will handle files from initial instruction through to resolution, with appropriate supervision depending on your PQE level.
Key Responsibilities Running a mixed litigation caseload independently Providing high-quality legal advice to a diverse client base Drafting pleadings, statements, applications, and correspondence Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings Ensuring compliance with regulatory deadlines and case management requirements Building long-term client relationships and contributing to department growth Requirements Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) NQ to 6 PQE in litigation or dispute resolution considered Strong drafting, advocacy, and analytical skills Ability to manage a busy caseload with excellent attention to detail Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Benefits Competitive salary: £40,000 to £65,000 depending on experience Generous holiday allowance Hybrid working options (subject to firm’s guidelines) Clear route for progression Friendly and supportive team culture Access to high-quality disputes work and strong local client base
