About the Role

As a Case Manager, you will serve as the central point of coordination between expert witnesses and lawyers, ensuring matters progress seamlessly from start to finish. You will manage timelines, maintain trusted relationships with clients and experts, and oversee each detail with accuracy and care. This role suits a highly organised, client-focused professional with a legal background and strong relationship-management experience, who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the key link between experts and lawyers, ensuring seamless communication and smooth case progression.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships, delivering solutions with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Drive cases forward by monitoring deadlines and ensuring milestones are met.
  • Collaborate with the Research team to match clients with the most qualified experts for their needs.
  • Partner with the Quality Assurance team to deliver expert reports that meet the highest admissibility and quality standards.
  • Proactively identify and resolve challenges to keep cases moving and clients confident in the process.

Skills & Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Management, or related field.
  • Experience in law firms or legal operations (ideally as a lawyer or senior paralegal).
  • Prior experience working in multicultural teams and providing services to international clients, preferably Australian lawyers.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and objection-handling skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all deliverables.
  • Resilient work ethic with the ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office with a strong grasp of office operations and processes.
  • Confident and professional communicator, comfortable engaging with diverse professionals by phone and email.
