Position Overview

Our client a Prestigious National firm, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their dynamic legal team in Miami. This role requires an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mid-to-large-sized law firm environment. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in all phases of litigation, from case inception to trial, ensuring efficiency and compliance with legal procedures. This role is a hybrid in/out office.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with multiple firm-wide departments to manage case openings, conflict checks, billing, training, records management, and other administrative functions.

Navigate court procedures, ensuring all pleadings and filings comply with jurisdictional requirements.

Assist in trial preparation, providing on-site support and ensuring seamless courtroom operations.

Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, prepare motions, and support discovery processes.

Serve as a liaison between attorneys and external counsel, coordinating casework and communication.

Manage case priorities and provide timely updates to attorneys.

Draft affidavits, maintain case correspondence, and organize case files.

Communicate with court officials and regulatory agencies as required.

Prepare research memoranda and summarize findings.

Oversee large-scale document productions, including retrieval, review, and database management.

Perform cite-checking and editing of legal documents for accuracy and compliance.

Maintain case files, including transcripts, exhibits, and litigation support materials.

Organize exhibit lists, privilege logs, and litigation documentation.

Coordinate with external litigation vendors as necessary.

Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail.

Track billable time and ensure proper documentation for client billing.

Manage both electronic and physical case files efficiently.

Must be available to attend a couple of trials a year.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or a Paralegal Certificate required.

Experience: Minimum of five years of litigation experience in a law firm setting.

Skills: Ability to manage multiple attorneys’ workloads in a fast-paced environment.

Certification: Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) preferred.
