We are seeking a full time associate attorney with 0-1 year of litigation experience for our small, busy consumer law firm in Houston.
The ideal candidate should be interested in all aspects of Civil Litigation from pre-suit demands to post-judgement collections and appeals, including drafting demand letters, case summary, depositions, discovery, hearings, trials, and client contact.
****JURISPRUDENCE DOCTORATE REQUIRED****
***TEXAS BAR LICENSE REQUIRED***
Job duties include:
Attending Hearings
Attending/Taking/Defending Depositions
Attending Mediations
Drafting Motions and Responses to Motions
Reviewing and approving discovery
Research & Briefing as needed
Attending Trial
Drafting demand letters
Communicate with clients
Position is an in-office position.
