The Zimmerman Law Firm is seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal to join our growing personal injury team in Waco, Texas. This position will support attorneys in handling a docket of plaintiff-side personal injury cases in litigation and will play an important role in moving cases efficiently from filing through resolution.
We are looking for someone who is a team player, organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and compassionate with clients. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing deadlines, coordinating discovery, and helping keep a busy litigation docket on track.

Position Responsibilities
The Litigation Paralegal will assist with personal injury cases in active litigation, including:
- Managing a litigation docket and monitoring case deadlines
- Drafting, proofreading, and filing pleadings, discovery, notices, and correspondence
- Coordinating service of process
- Preparing discovery responses and assisting with written discovery
- Scheduling depositions, mediations, hearings, and client meetings
- Communicating with clients, providers, courts, opposing counsel, and experts
- Assisting attorneys with deposition preparation, mediation preparation, and trial preparation
- Maintaining accurate and organized electronic case files
- Helping move files forward and identifying items that need attorney attention
Qualifications
- Prior paralegal experience preferred but not required
- Must be willing to learn
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate with clients professionally and compassionately
- Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team

This position is based in Waco, Texas and is primarily in-office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
