D3 Search is actively seeking an accomplished Litigation Paralegal on behalf of a prominent CA-based full-service law practice with its headquartered office located in West Los Angeles, CA (90067).
Position Title:
Litigation Paralegal
- Important Note: 4+ yrs. relevant litigation experience/expertise (civil litigation) is REQUIRED.
Location/Map:
Los Angeles, CA (90067~Century City)
Employment Status:
Full-time/direct-hire employment. Non-exempt role (OT eligible in accordance w/ CA laws).
Employer Work Model:
Flexible hybrid 4 onsite/1 remote work model.
Position Summary:
Prominent CA-based law practice located in Los Angeles (90067 ~ Century City) seeks Litigation Paralegal to support small internal civil litigation team.
General Responsibilities:
- Document collection and production
- Drafting correspondence
- Communicating with experts
- Communicating with clients
- Managing discovery
- Tracking settlement statements
- Prepare Letters of Representation (LORs)
- Prepare client welcome letters
Set up and organize client files in Filevine, including:
- Renaming and organizing documents
- Document review
- Updating estimate and report screens
- Entering party information
- Uploading insurance policies
- Creating deadline chains
- Maintaining timelines
- Updating case details
- Coordinate expert assignments
- Coordinate and track inspections requested by carriers
Assist with discovery matters, including:
- Document management (must have experience with Relativity, DISCO, and/or Everlaw)
- Document tagging and organization
- Drafting initial disclosures
- Drafting other discovery-related documents
- Communicate with clients regarding expert estimates
- Follow up with clients regarding estimate approvals
Education & Qualifications:
- Associate degree in paralegal or legal studies or paralegal certificate and four (4+) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, work experience and training in a law office setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in paralegal or legal studies is highly preferred.
Annual Compensation/Salary & Benefits:
