Job Summary
A Legal Assistant in the field of auto accidents would provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys handling personal injury cases stemming from car accidents. Their duties would include managing client communication, gathering and organizing case documents

Core Responsibilities:
· Client Communication:
Answering phone calls, setting up insurance claims.
· Case Management:
Organizing and maintaining client files, including medical records, police reports, witness statements, and other relevant documents.
· Document Preparation:
Drafting legal documents, such as demand letters, settlement and agreements. Sending out letters of protection. Sending out letters of representation.
· Scheduling and Coordination:
Scheduling appointments
· Insurance Communication:
Interacting with insurance companies, obtaining policy information, and managing claim-related correspondence.
Additional Duties:
· May need to arrange transportation for clients to/from appointments..
· May need to obtain medical records and police reports.
· May assist with medical care management, including scheduling appointments and following up with doctors.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
· Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
· Knowledge of legal terminology and basic legal research skills.
· Experience in a law office or similar setting is often preferred.

Pay: $17.15 – $20.00 per hour
