National Law Firm is searching for a Senior Litigation Docket Specialist who knows court rules inside and out and can keep complex litigation matters running with accuracy, speed, and total reliability. If you excel in a fast‑paced legal environment and are the “go‑to” person for docketing questions, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Own all advanced docketing responsibilities across civil, criminal, probate, family, eminent domain, asbestos, and more
- Guide and support docketing team members; answer questions & provide training
- Research court rules, jurisdictional requirements, and procedural standards
- Manage complex filings: writs, bonds, liens, injunctions, TROs, and creditor issues
- Handle sealed matters and vexatious litigation with strict confidentiality
- Communicate rule changes & recommend process improvements
- Troubleshoot docketing software issues and maintain resource guides
What You Bring:
- 7+ years of litigation docketing experience (large law firm preferred)
- Deep knowledge of State & Federal court rules and calendaring deadlines
- Ability to interpret court orders & determine precise calendarable dates
- Expertise in CompuLaw Vision or similar docketing software
- Strong legal terminology & citation knowledge
- Exceptional organization, accuracy, and time‑management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to prioritize heavy workloads and operate with full confidentiality
