Alvarez, Thompson & Smoak, P.A. is currently seeking dedicated, hard-working professionals for our Orlando office with litigation experience. Candidates must be licensed in Florida.
Responsibilities of Litigation Attorney:
– Litigate and negotiate on behalf of clients in civil cases
– Conduct legal research and analysis to build strong cases
– Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
– Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
– Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
– Collaborate with colleagues and experts to develop case strategies
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files
Experience of Litigation Attorney:
– Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
– Admission to the Florida bar association
– Proven experience as a litigation attorney, preferably with a focus on general liability insurance defense
– Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
– Excellent oral and written communication skills
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
– Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
