Ideal Partners Staffing is partnering with a well-established, law firm in Fort Worth to hire an experienced Litigation & Appellate Attorney. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned attorney looking to join a respected practice representing municipal clients throughout Texas.
The ideal candidate will have extensive litigation and appellate experience, exceptional legal writing and research skills, and the ability to independently manage complex matters from inception through appeal. This position also offers the opportunity to mentor junior attorneys and play a key leadership role within the firm’s litigation practice.
Responsibilities
- Handle all phases of complex civil litigation from case inception through trial and appeal.
- Serve as first-chair trial counsel in Texas state and federal courts.
- Draft, review, and argue appellate briefs and other legal pleadings.
- Research and analyze complex legal issues affecting municipal clients.
- Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients.
- Conduct hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
- Develop litigation strategy and case management plans.
- Mentor and train litigation associates.
- Maintain strong client relationships while managing a billable-hour practice.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
- Minimum of 8 years of litigation and appellate experience.
- Experience representing Texas municipalities is preferred but not required.
- Strong courtroom experience, including first-chair trial experience.
- Outstanding legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and client counseling abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced private practice environment with billable hour requirements.

Pay: $200,000.00 – $250,000.00 per year
