Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked national law firm seeking a 4th to 6th year Litigation Associate to join its San Francisco office on an in office basis.
This is a 100 percent litigation role focused on complex commercial disputes, with exposure to a broad mix of commercial, business, real estate, corporate governance, and bankruptcy related matters.

The Opportunity
You will support and help drive matters through key phases of litigation, including motion practice, written discovery, case strategy, and preparation for significant proceedings, working closely with partners and litigation teams on sophisticated disputes in state and federal court.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a 4th to 6th year Litigation Associate with:
- 4 to 6 years of experience handling complex commercial litigation matters
- Active admission to practice law in California
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Strong research, writing, analytical, and drafting skills
- Experience with motion practice, written discovery, and litigation case management
- A collaborative working style and comfort working primarily onsite in San Francisco

Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this role is $230,000 to $250,000, depending on class year, experience and other relevant factors.
