A law firm seeks a skilled litigation attorney with at least two years of experience to join its San Francisco office. Lead and manage all aspects of litigation from case inception to resolution, including trial preparation and court appearances.
Work on cases involving general liability, with an opportunity to specialize in professional liability, healthcare, specialty care, senior living litigation, and more.
Handle litigation related to mass torts, class actions, product liability, human trafficking, and sexual abuse claims.
Collaborate directly with clients, providing guidance and strategic advice.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
Assist in developing case strategies, and providing valuable insights and recommendations to senior attorneys.
Engage in settlement negotiations and represent clients in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Participate in formal mentorship programs, continuing education, and professional development initiatives.
Minimum of two years of litigation experience, focusing on general liability or a related area.
Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to draft legal documents efficiently and persuasively.
Experience in managing cases independently while working collaboratively within a team.
High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in California.
