Key Responsibilities:
- Handle 10–15 active matters.
- Draft complaints, motions, and other litigation-related documents.
- Manage discovery, depositions, legal research, and case strategy.
- Communicate with clients and handle court appearances.
- Support M&A transactions and related business matters.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of legal experience.
- Strong litigation or transactional background.
- Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), corporate transactions, or business law preferred.
- Candidates with a strong transactional background, particularly in contract drafting and negotiation, will also be considered.
- Direct M&A experience is preferred; the firm is open to training the right candidate.
- Strong legal drafting, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $250,000-$300,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, years of practice, and other qualifications.
Bonus:
- Hours bonus beginning at 1,500 billable hours.
- Origination bonus of 20%–25%.
- Year-end discretionary bonus of approximately $10,000–$15,000.
