With strong traction in the UK market, the business is expanding its commercial and consulting capability and is now seeking a Legal Technology Consultant to support both pre-sales engagements and early-stage solution delivery.
Role Overview
As a Legal Technology Consultant, you will work at the intersection of sales, consulting, and product expertise. The role combines pre-sales consulting with hands-on solution configuration and product demonstrations.
You will work closely with Account Executives to understand the operational and financial challenges of prospective clients, particularly within legal and professional services environments. From there, you will help design and deliver tailored demonstrations that showcase how the platform solves those challenges.
The role typically involves a split of responsibilities across consultative discovery, technical demonstrations, and configuring the platform to reflect real-world client scenarios. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technology, consulting, and client engagement to help organisations understand the value of legal technology solutions.
Legal Technology Consultant – Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to support the sales process through discovery, solution design, and tailored demonstrations.
- Lead consultative conversations with prospective clients to understand legal workflows, operational challenges, and business requirements.
- Configure the platform to create realistic and relevant demonstration environments aligned to client use cases.
- Deliver engaging technical demonstrations that clearly communicate how the solution improves operational efficiency and financial visibility.
- Provide consultative guidance to prospects on how technology can support modern legal operations and case management.
- Support responses to proposals, tenders, and RFP processes with technical and functional input.
- Act as a subject matter expert on the platform’s capabilities, modules, and use cases within the legal sector.
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Professional Services teams to share insights from customer conversations and market feedback.
- Ensure a smooth transition from the pre-sales process into implementation and consulting teams following contract signature.
Legal Technology Consultant – Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a Solutions Consultant, Pre-Sales Consultant, Implementation Consultant, or similar role within SaaS or software.
- Experience working with LegalTech, Practice Management, Case Management, or Legal Accounting platforms is highly advantageous.
- Strong ability to understand and articulate operational and financial workflows within legal or professional services organisations.
- Hands-on experience configuring software environments and delivering tailored product demonstrations.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, business-focused outcomes.
- A consultative approach to problem solving and solution design.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams.
