Job Summary
FRU AND SONS LTD is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to provide administrative and legal support while ensuring accurate management of legal documents, contracts, correspondence, and company records.

The successful candidate will support the company’s legal and administrative functions, particularly those related to commercial transactions, supplier and customer agreements, import/export documentation, regulatory compliance, and corporate records.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, format, review, and maintain legal documents, contracts, letters, and reports.
Maintain organized physical and electronic legal files and company records.
Assist with drafting and processing commercial agreements, NDAs, supplier contracts, and service agreements.
Support the preparation and review of import/export-related documentation.
Conduct basic legal and regulatory research as directed by the Legal Counsel or management.
Monitor important contract dates, renewals, deadlines, and compliance requirements.
Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, correspondence, and legal notices.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, government agencies, legal professionals, and other stakeholders when required.
Assist with corporate filings, licenses, permits, and regulatory documentation.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal, financial, and business information.
Provide general administrative support to the legal and management teams.
Ensure documents are properly recorded, stored, and readily accessible when needed.

Requirements & Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Law, Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role is an advantage.
Good knowledge of business correspondence and legal documentation.
Strong organizational and document-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of import/export regulations and commercial law is an advantage.
