The Legal Secretary will provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, ensuring efficient operation of the law office. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, proficiency in Office 365, excellent documentation skills, and preferably some experience in litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support: Perform a variety of administrative tasks including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.

Document Management: Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents such as briefs, motions, and pleadings. Maintain and organize both electronic and physical files.

Office 365 Proficiency: Utilize Office 365 for document creation, email communication, and data management.

Client Interaction: Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner.

Litigation Support: Assist with litigation tasks such as preparing discovery documents, managing case files, and coordinating trial logistics (preferred but not required).

Research: Conduct basic legal research and gather relevant information as needed.

Compliance: Ensure all documentation and procedures comply with legal standards and firm policies.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal secretary or in a similar administrative role within a law firm.

Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in Office 365 is essential.

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional legal or administrative training is a plus.

Compensation:

$20/hr to $30/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
