Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Director of Strategic Growth (Legal), Strategic Growth Managers, Practice Group Leaders, Hiring Partners, and other key stakeholders to support lateral attorney hiring initiatives while ensuring adherence to firm policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including job postings, applicant tracking system administration, interview coordination, candidate communications, feedback collection, offer preparation, and onboarding documentation.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, search firms, attorneys, business professionals, and external partners, delivering a professional and high-quality recruitment experience.
- Oversee recruiting operations and logistics, including interview scheduling, background checks, reference checks, preliminary conflicts reviews, candidate expense reimbursements, agency agreements, invoice processing, and recruiting documentation.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, recruiting pipelines, and reporting data within the applicant tracking system, while supporting recruiting initiatives, special projects, and operational improvements.
- Conduct market and competitive talent research, monitor attorney movement trends, support candidate sourcing strategies, and compile recruiting metrics to inform hiring decisions and search progress.
- Produce accurate, timely work product; communicate effectively with stakeholders; manage competing priorities; and foster collaborative working relationships while upholding firm standards and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of legal recruiting experience within a law firm environment.
- Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, LawCruit, or ViRecruit.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook, as well as virtual collaboration platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience utilizing legal recruiting and talent intelligence tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Pirical Legal Professionals, and Leopard Solutions.
- Strong judgment and discretion in handling confidential and highly sensitive candidate and client information.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage professionals at all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, remain highly organized, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Experience or familiarity with generative AI tools and their application to recruiting workflow optimization is strongly preferred.

- Flexibility to work occasional evening and weekend hours during peak recruiting periods or lateral hiring cycles.
