Duties/Responsibilities:

· Work closely with in house Legal Director and other internal stakeholders on assigned legal, corporate governance, and compliance matters.

· Prepare and review legal and corporate secretarial documents such as resolutions, minutes, agreements, correspondence, and routine filings.

· Assist in maintaining and updating statutory registers and corporate records in accordance with ACRA and other regulatory requirements.

· Support annual return filings, board/committee meeting preparations, and other corporate secretarial processes.

· Conduct legal and regulatory research on education sector requirements, corporate governance, contracts, and compliance matters; prepare written briefs or summaries.

· Assist in fact-checking, gathering information, and coordinating with internal departments for legal or governance matters.

· Organize, maintain, and retrieve legal files, corporate documents, agreements, and confidential records.

· Provide administrative support for hearings, meetings, and internal reviews when required.

· Track and maintain proper documentation of work processes, timelines, and billable or project hours where applicable.

· Perform other legal and corporate secretarial duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

. Candidates must be qualified to practice law in Singapore and admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Good understanding of legal terminology, corporate secretarial practices, and ACRA requirements.

· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with corporate secretarial software is an advantage.
