Legal Practice Assistant – Litigation Legacy Liability Jobs in New York, NY at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius
We’re hiring an experienced Legal Secretary to support our busy Litigation team in downtown San Diego. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and bring precision, responsiveness, and a proactive mindset to your work, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
You’ll play a key role in supporting attorneys who handle complex corporate and commercial litigation in both state and federal courts. Ideal candidates bring at least 7 years of experience in high-volume civil litigation and are confident handling:
Formatting pleadings, briefs, and legal correspondence
E-filing in both state and federal courts
Calendaring deadlines and court dates
Preparing expense reports and entering attorney time
Communicating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Supporting attorneys with a variety of work styles and preferences
To be considered, candidates should have supported attorneys practicing in similar litigation areas.

Competitive compensation. This role typically pays $87,000-$100,000 depending on experience. If your pay expectation is outside this range, we still encourage you to apply. Bonuses are awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance.
