The role
In Legal Partnerships, you own the relationship between us and the family law profession. Signing up firms, managing the lawyers and clients who come through them, and getting funding applications across the line.
Three things sit on your desk:
1. Go-to-market: Get in front of family lawyers and sign them up. This is relationship-driven legal sales: you speak their language and turn coffees into a referral pipeline.
2. Relationship & case management: Be the single point of contact for lawyers and clients across the life of a matter. Triage incoming cases, assess their merits, and keep everyone informed.
3. Loan submission: Collect the financial and case documents, package applications, and shepherd them through assessment and approval. You're the bridge between a promising case and a funded one.
Who you are
A family law professional who loves the subject but is ready for a faster, more numerical, more entrepreneurial environment than practice.
- 5+ years' experience in family law; Sydney-based and happy on-site in Bondi Beach.
- A natural relationship-builder who wins trust without sounding like you're selling.
- Comfortable with numbers and risk – settlements, asset positions and basic funding maths don't scare you.
- Sharp on detail, with real discipline around confidentiality and compliance.
- Self-directed and energised by ambiguity. Finance/business law exposure and a law degree (JD/LLB) are big pluses.
