Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of credit facility agreements in both Arabic and English, including revolving credit facilities-, short-, medium-, and long-term loans, as well as syndicated facilities
- Provide day to day legal support and act as a subject matter expert for assigned areas.
- Advise business units and management on legal, regulatory, and governance matters.
- Ensure that the Bank effectively manages legal, regulatory, and reputational risks.
- Support business initiatives by interpreting applicable laws, regulations, and market practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to deliver efficient legal solutions.
- Contribute to strategic decisions by providing proactive, risk aware, and business-oriented legal advice.
Qualifications & Experience
- 6–8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably within financial services or a reputable law firm
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian laws and regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong command of both Arabic and English (written and spoken)
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across functions
- Membership in a recognized Bar Association
