LEGAL OPERATIONS ANALYST JOB DUTIES
About This Role
We are seeking a Legal Operations Analyst with expertise in TeamConnect matter-management and e-billing. This contract position requires 30–40 hours per week. Start date, immediately.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for outside-counsel engagements, including onboarding and oversight of the e-billing system
Collaborate with e-billing vendors to resolve payment and invoice-status issues promptly
Develop and maintain reports and visual dashboards to support data-driven decision-making
Audit and monitor invoices to ensure compliance with billing guidelines and timely processing
Partner with Legal, Accounts Payable, Finance, and Accounting teams to align objectives and streamline workflows
Troubleshoot and resolve billing and payment discrepancies
Manage vendor onboarding, including integration with Accounts Payable systems
Support accrual and budgeting processes, and assist with audit inquiries
Undertake ad-hoc projects and provide general administrative support
Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive information with the utmost discretion and integrity
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, legal studies, or related field
Minimum two years’ experience in legal operations or a similar corporate legal department role
At least one year of hands-on experience with TeamConnect and TCBI reporting
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, PivotTables) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
Project management experience a plus
Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Self-starter who escalates issues appropriately
