About The Role
The Legal Officer is responsible for supporting the company’s legal needs through the preparation, review, management, and control of legal documents, business contracts, licensing, regulatory compliance, and corporate administration. This position ensures that the company’s business activities are carried out in accordance with applicable laws, internal policies, and good corporate governance standards.
This role requires a detail-oriented, analytical, and communicative individual with a strong understanding of business law and the ability to provide practical legal recommendations that support day-to-day business operations.
The Legal Officer also acts as a partner to internal teams in identifying legal risks, preparing supporting documents, coordinating with external parties, and ensuring that legal processes are handled accurately, properly, and on time.
What You Will Do
- Draft, review, and manage various company legal documents, including cooperation agreements, vendor contracts, client contracts, NDAs, MoUs, addendums, powers of attorney, statements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal reviews of contracts, business proposals, commercial documents, and operational documents to ensure alignment with legal, compliance, and company interest considerations.
- Provide initial legal advice and recommendations to internal teams regarding legal risks, contractual obligations, agreement clauses, and risk mitigation in the company’s business activities.
- Support corporate administration processes, including the management of deeds, licenses, company legal documents, directors’ documents, shareholder documents, and corporate governance records.
- Ensure the completeness, validity, and renewal of company legal documents based on operational needs and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Monitor the validity period of contracts, licenses, legal documents, reporting obligations, and other legal deadlines.
- Coordinate with notaries, legal consultants, regulators, government institutions, vendors, clients, and other external parties for legal and administrative needs.
- Support due diligence processes, preparation of supporting documents, and fulfillment of legal requirements for business partnerships, strategic projects, and company transactions.
- Assist in handling disputes, warning letters, claims, or potential legal issues by preparing documents, chronology, supporting data, and follow-up coordination.
- Help ensure company compliance with regulations relevant to business activities, including data protection, employment, licensing, contractual, and corporate governance matters.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain the company’s legal document database so that documents are traceable, properly documented, and securely managed.
- Support the preparation of SOPs, policies, contract templates, legal checklists, and other internal documents related to the company’s legal needs.
- Coordinate across divisions to ensure that documents, approvals, information, and legal requirements are processed accurately and according to timeline.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all legal information, company data, business contracts, strategic documents, and company legal communications.

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Law from an accredited university.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Legal Officer, Corporate Legal, Legal Staff, Contract Specialist, or other legal position in a company or law firm.
- Good understanding of contract law, corporate law, legal drafting, legal review, licensing, and corporate administration.
- Experienced in drafting and reviewing business contracts, NDAs, MoUs, addendums, powers of attorney, statements, and other company legal documents.
- Able to analyze legal risks and provide clear, practical, and applicable recommendations for business needs.
- Familiar with corporate document management, company legality, licensing processes, and coordination with notaries or relevant institutions.
- Good communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, written and spoken.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, especially Word, Excel/Spreadsheet, PowerPoint/Slides, Drive, and Email.
- Detail-oriented, organized, disciplined, responsive, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines.
- High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of company information.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision while maintaining regular coordination and reporting.
- Able to interact professionally with management, business units, clients, vendors, partners, notaries, legal consultants, and other external stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic business environment that requires agility and fast decision-making support.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation support, document control, and follow-up skills.
- Experience in the telecom, fintech, e-commerce, digital solution, technology, or business services industry is a plus.
