Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including vendor agreements, client agreements, NDAs, SLAs, and partnership agreements.
- Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide legal advice on contractual matters related to fintech products and services.
- Identify legal risks and propose practical solutions to mitigate them.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (business, operations, procurement, and management) to support contract execution.
- Maintain and manage contract records and documentation systematically.
- Assist in dispute resolution and handle contract-related legal issues.
- Keep updated with regulatory changes relevant to fintech and digital services.
Qualifications & Experience
- Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in contract drafting and legal advisory (experience in fintech, IT, or banking sector is an added advantage).
- Strong knowledge of commercial law, contract law, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
