1.0 Duties and Responsibilities
1.1 Initiate, monitor and/or follow up on litigation proceedings.
1.2 Filing and retention of legal documents.
1.3 Liaise with external lawyers and other relevant authorities on legal and corporate matters.
1.4 Undertake research and prepare legal opinions for the company on matters arising and affecting the company from time to time.
1.5 To provide legal advice and support in legal, operational, contractual, litigations for business operations of the company.
1.6 Reviewing all legal documentation drafted by external party to ensure best interest of the company is protected.
1.7 To work closely with various departments within the Company to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory matters.
2.0 Education and Qualifications
2.01 Candidate must possess minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree in laws (LLB).
2.02 Relevant working experience in corporate/banking legal field will be an added advantage.
2.03 Preferably candidate who has legal proceedings of vehicle repossession, redemption, auction experience, banking litigation.
3.0 Skills and Specifications
3.01 Good communication and negotiation in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
3.02 Computer soft skills such as Microsoft Excel and Words.
3.03 Good organizational skills, highly motivated and result orientated.
